PRIMER 2026-27

The Trial Advocacy Committee Primer 2026–27, conducted on 27 June 2026, served as an orientation programme for first-year students of the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), aimed at introducing them to the fundamentals of trial advocacy and the functioning of the Trial Advocacy Committee. The event featured a live trial demonstration by senior members, showcasing courtroom procedures such as examination-in-chief and cross-examination, enabling students to observe the practical application of criminal law and evidence. Advocate Chandan B. R. Reddy, Founding Partner at Siddha Law, shared valuable insights from his courtroom experiences, highlighting the importance of advocacy skills, professional ethics, and courtroom etiquette.
